Aquatic Angels Rescue Website

‣ OVERVIEW
Aquatic Angels Rescue is a compassionate, user-focused website I designed and developed for a nonprofit dedicated to taking in surrendered aquatic animals—from fish and turtles to coral and aquatic plants. The goal was to create a digital space that feels trustworthy, informative, and welcoming, with clear paths for adoption, education, and donation.
‣ OBJECTIVE
The challenge was balancing emotional storytelling with practical functionality. The site needed to feel calming and caring, while also making it easy for visitors to find adoption information, learn about aquatic animal care, and contribute through donations or supplies. Every design decision had to serve both the mission and the user experience.
‣ PROCESS
I started by mapping out user flows and designing clean, responsive wireframes that prioritized clarity and ease of navigation. The visual identity draws from the soothing colors of aquatic environments—using soft blues, rounded elements, and playful iconography to build trust and visual consistency. I paid special attention to accessibility, layout hierarchy, and interactive elements to guide users smoothly through the site’s content.
‣ RESULT
The final site is approachable, engaging, and mission-driven—designed to build awareness around aquatic animal welfare while encouraging meaningful action. Aquatic Angels Rescue demonstrates how thoughtful branding and UX can work together to make a lasting impact and connect people with a cause.
